‘Sugar Capacity’ is a PBL Experimental Group Research Project to be undertaken by small groups of (approximately 4) first year students, working as teams to perform a variety of experiments to answer a set of questions posed to them. The problem relates to AC Theory course, although much of the required information and theory is in the modules on Waves and Electricity and Magnetism.. The theory required for this PBL is found in the course books (Tipler and Mathematical Physics Vol.2), although some critical thinking may be required to extend this knowledge or apply it to an area not yet understood by students.
