Winner announced
The winner of the sigma prize for outstanding contributions in the field of mathematics and statistics support 2012 has just been announced
Expressing his delight at receiving the award, Rob Wilson from the University of Cardiff said: "If I can encourage students to at least open themselves up to the beautiful (if sometimes frustrating) world of mathematics, I will be happy."
The award will be presented at a ceremony to be held at the CETL-MSOR conference in Sheffield on 12-13 July 2012
