Kitchen Science wins FameLab heat
Dr Mark Lorch from the Chemistry Department at the University of Hull, who runs the Kitchen Science project supported by the National HE STEM Programme, won the Newcastle heat of FameLab in early October.
Mark and a group of his students were also at Science in Action at the British Science Festival and did a superb job of demonstrating and explaining science concepts to families.
