Outreach project to teach school students about spectroscopy and encourage them to consider studying chemisrty at HE
Project Aims

To increase number of students studying chemistry at HE

Project Objectives

20 events per kit per year; 5000 students reached during HE STEM programme

SIAS events delivered in schools

Project Outcomes

Students more aware of opportunities available through studying chemistry; better understanding of topic; stronger links between schools and HEIs; HEI students develop transferable skills
